An instrumentalist (bamboo flute) and singer of Sufi poetry, Hossein Omoumi has been praised for his musicianship and technical facility from Europe to the United States. General License to Transfer Humanitarian Funds to Iran is Expiring
Washington DC, March 22, 2004 – On March 25, 2004, the general license issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to transfer funds from the United States to Iran for humanitarian purposes, will expire. All US-based humanitarian or development organizations who wish to continue to work in Iran after March 25 will require a separate, individual license from OFAC.
