TEHRAN -- The sixth international auto show kicked off here yesterday with the motto of "globalization merger and competitiveness".Minister of Mines and Industries Es'haq Jahangiri and Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh as well as officials from car manufacturing companies attended the inaugural ceremony of the event.
The exhibition is attended by 866 domestic and 169 foreign companies from 22 countries. The participants are displaying their latest achievements in auto manufacturing industry.
Germany, Turkey, Italy, China, India, Austria, Belarus, Canada, Denmark, Britain, France, United States, Japan, South Korea, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, Taiwan and Sweden are among countries participating at the car exhibition.
